Correction and Revision Policy

Last Updated: March 20, 2026

24Watchin (hereinafter referred to as the "Site") strives to provide accurate and easy-to-understand information. After an article has been published, errors in facts, clerical errors, inaccuracies in translation, updated information, or other circumstances may come to light. In such cases, the Site establishes the following Correction and Revision Policy in order to make appropriate corrections, revisions, updates, or deletions.

1. Basic Policy

The Site strives to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the information it publishes. If any error or inappropriate statement is discovered after publication of an article, the Site will take appropriate measures, including correction, revision, addition, update, deletion, or other appropriate action, depending on the nature of the issue and the extent of its impact.

2. Matters Subject to Correction or Revision

  • Where there is an error in the facts
  • Where there is an error in names of persons, place names, organization names, titles, dates and times, numerical figures, or similar information
  • Where there is an error in quotations, sources, links, or reference information
  • Where, in a translated article, there is a mistranslation or inaccurate expression that affects the meaning of the original text
  • Where additional information obtained after publication makes it necessary to supplement or update the content
  • Where infringement of rights, violation of laws or regulations, inappropriate expressions, or other issues are identified

3. Methods of Correction and Revision

(1) Minor Revisions

Minor revisions that do not materially affect the substance of the article or the understanding of the facts, such as typographical errors, omissions, inconsistencies in notation, or link corrections, may, in principle, be made without adding a specific notation.

(2) Revisions Affecting the Content

For revisions that have a certain impact on the meaning of the article, the facts, or the reader's understanding, the Site will indicate the correction or addition within the article as necessary.

(3) Material Corrections

For errors relating to the core part of an article or serious misstatements likely to cause misunderstanding, the Site will clearly indicate the fact of the correction within the article or by any other method deemed appropriate by the Site.

(4) Updates

Where new information or additional information becomes available, the Site may reflect such information as an "update" or an "addition," rather than as a correction.

(5) Deletion or Removal from Public View

Where continued publication of an article is deemed inappropriate due to legal issues, infringement of rights, serious errors, or other circumstances, the Site may delete, remove from public view, or replace all or part of the article.

4. Handling of Translated Articles

The Site may prepare or publish translated articles based on information in foreign languages. With respect to translated articles, revisions may be made for reasons including the following:

  • Where the original text has been updated or replaced
  • Where the translation used at the time of initial publication was inaccurate
  • Where supplementary explanation is considered necessary due to regional, institutional, cultural, or other differences

5. Requests for Deletion or Correction

If you wish to submit a comment regarding article content, notify us of a correction, or request deletion, please contact us through the inquiry form. When contacting us, please provide the following information as far as possible:

  • URL of the relevant article
  • Title of the article
  • The relevant portion and details of your comment or request
  • Supporting information or materials
  • Your contact information

6. Decisions on Response

The Site will review matters with reference to comments and opinions received; however, the Site does not guarantee that it will provide an individual response or make a correction in every case. Whether any action will be taken, as well as the method and timing of such action, will be determined based on editorial and operational judgment.

7. Handling of Archived Articles

Archived articles may not reflect the current situation due to changes in circumstances after publication. The Site does not guarantee that all archived articles will always be updated to reflect the latest information.

8. Changes to this Policy

The operator of the Site may revise the contents of this page as necessary. Any revised content shall apply from the time it is posted on the Site.
